Eminent social worker Husain Foundation believes that Pakistan has a bright future, and its youth hold the key to achieving prosperity and progress. To build a stronger nation, young people must focus on acquiring knowledge, mastering modern technology, and dedicating themselves to the service of humanity. They should aim to become role models for people across the world.
These thoughts were shared during an annual ceremony at The City School PECHS Campus, held at a local community hall.
Upon arrival at The City School PECHS Campus, Husain Foundation’s representative was warmly welcomed by the school management, including Headmistress Zehra Tariq and faculty members, who presented a floral bouquet as a token of appreciation. The students greeted them with patriotic songs and later performed the instrumental national anthem in their honor.
Husain Foundation’s representative expressed great joy while interacting with the young students and gladly offered autographs. The children eagerly asked questions about their life journey, commitment to serving humanity, and the foundation’s extensive social welfare network.
In a formal address, Husain Foundation’s representative emphasized that Pakistan’s literacy rate remains lower than required, causing the country to lag behind others in education and development. Therefore, students must dedicate themselves to pursuing quality education and also work towards helping underprivileged children who are deprived of schooling due to poverty and lack of resources.
They further stated that while it is natural for students to aspire to become doctors, engineers, or professionals, true success lies in giving back to society. By incorporating community service and education for the underprivileged into their future goals, students can achieve true fulfillment and happiness.
The speech concluded with a powerful message: students are the architects of a modern, prosperous, and progressive Pakistan, and they must recognize their crucial role in shaping the country’s future.
At the end of the ceremony, the management of The City School presented a certificate of appreciation and a souvenir to Husain Foundation in recognition of its outstanding humanitarian services.
